Individual Therapy
you’re not in this alone
Sometimes we can’t seem to get out of our own way.
Life taught you certain ways of coping, but they just don’t seem to be working anymore.
You’re tired of feeling insecure in yourself and in your relationships with others. The anxiety tells you that you’re both too much and not enough. You’re showing up for others as much as you can, but still don’t feel connected with people you care about. It’s hard to imagine taking off the mask and feeling loved for your authentic self.
You may be unsure if it's possible to feel valuable and worthy for once, but you’re ready to take a step outside your comfort zone to find out.
enter Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT)
Guided by the science of attachment, we’ll explore what gets in your way of feeling the security and confidence that you deserve. We’ll work together to figure out what patterns you’ve been stuck in, identify your strengths, and befriend the emotions that drive you in distressing moments. You’ll get to know yourself on a deeper level and experience new ways of engaging with vulnerability that allow you to connect more easily in your relationships.
What brings you to therapy?
Whether you know exactly what you want to work on, or simply that something just isn’t working anymore, you’re in the right place if you’re noticing:
Anxiety, worry, or feeling constantly on edge
Burnout, overwhelm, or feeling like you're running on empty
Perfectionism, people-pleasing, or difficulty feeling “good enough”
Self-esteem and self-worth concerns
Emotional reactivity or difficulty understanding your emotional responses
Relationship patterns that leave you feeling disconnected, misunderstood, or alone
Attachment concerns and fears around closeness, rejection, or abandonment
Trauma symptoms and the ways past experiences continue to shape present relationships
Resonance when others who are neurodivergent talk about their experiences, or the feeling that you have to work extra hard to feel understood by others
ADHD-related experiences such as procrastination, difficulty getting started, overwhelm, or feeling inconsistent in ways that can affect your sense of self and your relationships
